Agenda
12:30pm - 4:30pm: There will be an educational training on the following topics:
- Understanding available resources for persons with brain injury
- Supporting and building compensatory strategies for clients with cognitive, behavioral, and emotional difficulties after brain injury
- Developing successful access to employment for persons after brain injury
5:30pm - 6:30pm: There will be a public community forum to discuss topics such as BIAIA services, concussion management in schools (REAP), and legislative priorities
Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services will provide FREE CEUs for Certified Rehab Counselors only. Interested individuals will have the opportunity to submit license information to obtain CEUs on the day of the event. All other participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance for attending this event.
