This virtual prep course is designed to take professionals to the next level in their service for individuals with brain injury. Professionals that may consider this certification include licensed clinical staff, professionals with over 500 hours of experience serving individuals with brain injury, and organizations needing a Certified Brain Injury Specialist on their team.  This 9-week prep course provided by a Certified Brain Injury Specialist Trainer will cover a number of topics, and provide you with the Essentials Brain Injury Guide textbook and study guide.  

Registrants will have access to session recordings to meet the demands of your schedule. If registrants are interested in the Essential Guide to Brain Injury and the Certified Brain Injury Specialist Exam process, those costs are separate and can be found HERE.

This presentation will provide a broad overview of sex and gender differences in brain injury between men and women based on current scientific research and Katherine’s experience working with the thousands of women in the PINK Concussions Support Groups. November 8th @2:00pm EST: Taking Our Space Within Disability presented by Shanna Mays, MBA-HCA. This presentation will provide an overview of The National Developmental Disability (DD) Network and the need for brain injury programs to push into the Network to create space for brain injury survivors within the disability community at large. Behavioral Health and Brain Injury Webinar Series
